St. Jean’s Credit Union Awards Additional $50,000 in Grants To Local Businesses and Non-Profit Organizations

St. Jean’s Credit Union, Massachusetts’ First Credit Union was the recipient of the second round of funds issued by the Federal Home Loan Bank of Boston Jobs for New England Recovery Grant Program.  In November of last year, St. Jean’s was granted $100,000 to support local small businesses and non-profit organizations experiencing hardship due to the COVID-19 pandemic. This second round of grants totaling $50,000 will allow St. Jean’s Credit Union to once again support our local small businesses and non-profit organizations that continue to endure negative financial impact due to the pandemic. 

Jean’s Credit Union awarded six (6) grants totaling $50,000.00 to small businesses and community-based nonprofit organizations to assist with payroll and COVID-related expenses such as modifications needed to comply with state and CDC guidelines as well as personal protection equipment (PPE.)

Awards were given to the following Businesses: Aprils II, Salem, Magnolia New Beginnings, Danvers, Chowdhury, Inc, Lynn, Isabel Dry Cleaners, Lynn, Nido Familiar Day Care, Lynn and See Shore Photography, Newburyport.
