Job Requirements

Must have a minimum of 1-3 years’ banking and supervisory experience, required.

Serves as a liaison between the members and the credit union. Provide account information by phone or in-person, as well as information on the full range of credit union products and services. Open accounts for members, interview, and professionally handle the members’ daily needs. Provide a variety of transaction services to members including loan processing, closing and disbursal. Responsible for assisting with directing and guiding the operations of the Branch. Ensures that established policies and procedures are followed. Oversees provision of a full range of services to members and prospective members. Ensures that members are promptly and professionally served. Trains, directs, and assists in supervising Branch staff.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide exceptional customer service to members and potential members
  • Assist members with inquiries, account updates, and problem resolution
  • Perform data entry and maintain accurate member records
  • Conduct outbound calls to follow up on member inquiries or provide updates
  • Analyze member needs and recommend appropriate products or services
  • Maintain a high level of phone etiquette and professionalism
  • Embraces and recognizes the importance of the credit union Values Statement without exception.

Experience:

  • Previous experience in customer service or a related field is preferred
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Proficient in data entry and computer skills
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team

Schedule:

Full-time, 40 hours per week with work availability hours being during our business hours of operation: Monday-Wednesday 8:00 AM-4:30 PM, Thursday-Friday 8:00-5:30 PM, Saturday 8:00 AM-1:30 PM. Work schedules are based on the branch coverage needs and coordinated by the Branch Manager.

Physical Requirements:

Normal physical requirements including repetitive motion, prolonged stationary standing, and ability to lift and carry up to 35lbs. Able to use typewriter, keyboard, adding machine and PC.
