How can I register for stjeans@home Internet Branch to use DeposZip & Mobile Deposit?
Registration for stjeans@home Internet Branch is easy and only a few clicks away. Click on the text link “Sign Up?” located on the top left side of our home page.  Click “begin” to get started. Complete the online application. View and acknowledge the Terms and Conditions. Confirm data entered and click continue.   You will receive notification that your registration is complete…emails will follow. Please allow 2 business days to have access to your accounts online once reviewed and approved. 
 
How can I enroll for Online Statements?
Once you are enrolled in stjeans@home Internet Branch, sign in as usual using your Username and Password. Click on the Online Statement link located at the top of the Account Summary page beneath Products and Services. You will be taken to a page disclosing our “Online Statement User Agreement”.  Read the disclosure and accept. 
 
How do I access DeposZip?
Access to DeposZip is via stjeans@home Internet Branch. Qualified members must have access to Internet Banking and Electronic statements prior to approval for Deposzip.  
 
How can I sign up for DeposZip & Mobile Deposit?
You must be enrolled in stjeans@home Internet Branch and Online Statements to access DeposZip.
Log in to stjeans@home Internet Branch from our home page www.stjeanscu.com  (Please Note:  We require an updated/correct e-mail address on stjeans@home Internet Branch to use DeposZip. Not sure? Check User Options)...
Click on Products and Services.
Scroll down to choose EasCorp – St. Jean’s Credit Union’s Remote Deposit Partner.
Select the account you want to deposit to. 
Read and accept Remote Deposit Capture (DeposZip) Services Disclosure and Agreement. Once you apply for DeposZip you will receive a response concerning your enrollment via email within 1 business day. We recommend reviewing the online tutorial or HELP section within DeposZip before getting started.  
Please allow 2 business days to process your registration
You will receive an email with you pre-approved deposit limit.

You may also enroll via the STJ Mobile Application.
 
How do I access Mobile Deposit?
You can access Mobile Deposit within the STJ Mobile Application. However, you must must first register for access to Mobile Deposit.
 
How do I downlaod the STJ Mobile App?
The STJ Mobile App can be purchased for Android Mobile Devices within the Google Play Store, and for iPhone & iPad within the iTunes store free of charge.
 
What types of checks cannot be submitted using DeposZip & Mobile Deposit?
The following items cannot be submitted for deposit using DeposZip:
 
1. Any item drawn on my account or affiliate’s account.
2. Any item that is stamped with a “non-negotiable” watermark.
3.Any item that contains evidence of alteration to the information originally contained on the check.
4.Any item issued by a financial institution in a foreign country or not payable in US Dollars.
5.Any item that is incomplete. This includes any item that does not include all of the required information as is described in Exhibit “A”
6.Any item that is “stale dated” or “post dated.”
7.Any third party check, i.e., any item that is made payable to another party and then endorsed to me by such party.
 
What endorsement requirements are necessary prior to submitting a check via DeposZip & Mobile Deposit?
St. Jean’s Credit Union Endorsement Requirements:
 
1.The back of each item must include the following:
  • The words “For Deposit Only at St. Jean’s Credit Union
  • Your Account Number to which it is being deposited
  • The words “Via DeposZip”
  • On (today’s date) mm/dd/yyyy
  • Payee’s Endorsement
  • Write “scanned” on the front of the check in the memo field
  • Select your scanner (you will only need to do this one time)
  • Enter the total deposit amount of your checks
  • Scan the front and back of your check(s)
  • Review and Submit your deposit
Note: St. Jean’s Credit Union reserves the right to reject any check for deposit using DeposZip & Mobile Deposit which is not properly endorsed. 
 
What are the system requirements to use DeposZip & Mobile Deposit?
In order to use DeposZip, the member must have the following hardware and software with the indicated specifications. In order to utilize Mobile Deposit, the member must have a data enabled mobile device. 
 
Minimum Requirements to Utilize DeposZip & Mobile Deposit:
  • Windows XP with Internet Explorer 6+ or Vista with Internet Explorer 6+
  • Windows XP or Vista with Firefox 2+
  • High-speed Internet connection
  • TWAIN Compliant Document Scanner
  • Please contact the credit union for a list of supported mobile devices
Note: The recommended versions of the browsers listed are Internet Explorer 7 or Firefox 3. Also Java and Active X controls are likely to be used.
 
The image quality for the check will meet the standards for image quality established by the American National Standards Institute (“ANSI”), the Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve and any other regulatory agency, clearing house or association. 
 
For additional help access stjeans@home Internet Branch and log in to DeposZip. Click on “Help with Scanners and Driver” near the bottom of the screen.
 
How soon will the deposit be credited to my account?
Checks submitted and approved for deposit prior to our cut-off time of 3:00 p.m. Eastern Standard Time (EST) will be credited to your account on the same business day. Checks submitted and approved for deposit after 3:00 p.m. will be credited to your account on the next business day. 
 
Please Note:   Business days are Monday through Friday excluding Legal Holidays.
Business Account members will incur a monthly fee and per item fees. Please refer to the scheduled of fees.
 
Will there be a hold on my checks deposited via DeposZip & Mobile Deposit?
Yes, there will be a hold of 2 business days on checks deposited via DeposZip & Mobile Deposit.
 
Please Note: St. Jean’s Credit Union reserves the right to extend the hold for a longer period of time as set forth in the “Funds Availability Policy” section of the Truth-in-Savings Disclosure and Account Agreement. Please refer to our Truth-in-Savings Disclosure.
 
How long should I store original checks deposited via DeposZip & Mobile Deposit?
Securely store the original checks for60 days before destroying them once you have scanned your checks and you have received notification via email that your deposit has been credited to your account.
 
Can I view checks I have deposited via DeposZip & Mobile Deposit?
Yes, any checks deposited can be viewed via DeposZip & Mobile Deposit system. Click on the Deposit History tab to view deposited checks.
 
How long will I have access to DeposZip & Mobile Deposit check images?
You will have access to deposited check images for 18 months via the DeposZip & Mobile Deposit system.
 
What type of accounts can I scan deposits into?
Deposits can be made to your St. Jean’s Credit Union Primary Share Accounts, NOW Checking Accounts and Money Market Accounts via DeposZip. Deposits can be made to your Primary Share Accounts & Now Checking Accounts via Mobile Deposit.
 
Are there any deposit limits?
Yes, the limits are as follows:
Per deposit: $1,000
Per day:   $5,000
Per rolling 30-day period: $50,000
(Limits noted are maximums. Individual limits may vary and will be disclosed in the deposit acceptance email you will receive upon acceptance into the program)
